I'm an artist who enjoys vibe coding.

My studio is where I spend most of my time making oil paintings — and software is something I come to sideways, the way artists tend to approach anything that isn't their main practice. I don't have a computer science background.

What I have is curiosity, a decent eye for design, and access to AI tools that have made building real software possible for people like me.

Subscription Tracker started as a personal frustration. One day I was combing through my credit card statements and found multiple charges for software subscriptions I'd forgotten about entirely.

So I built Subscription Tracker. Not a spreadsheet, not a note in my phone — an actual web app, with a database, email reminders, and a Stripe integration. I built it the way I make art: iteratively, with a lot of revision, guided more by instinct than by formal process. Claude wrote most of the code. I decided what to build and what to cut.

The result is the simplest version of what I needed: a place to log your subscriptions, see what you're actually spending, and get a heads-up before you're charged. There's even a field to store a link to quickly cancel each subscription. Free during beta, no credit card required.
