What this policy covers

This policy explains what information Subscription Tracker collects, how it's used, and your rights regarding your data. “Subscription Tracker,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the service available at subscriptiontracker.win, operated by Mark LaRiviere.

What we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign up with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google — we do not receive your Google password. Passwords created directly on Subscription Tracker are hashed and never stored in readable form.

Subscription data. The subscriptions you add to the app: service names, costs, renewal dates, cancellation links, notes, and categories. This is the core data the service exists to store on your behalf.

Billing information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment. We do not store credit card numbers. We store a Stripe customer ID, your plan status (free or paid), and your billing period dates.

Emails we send. We send transactional emails: a welcome email when you create your account, and reminder emails before subscription renewal dates when you have reminders configured. We do not send marketing emails.

Technical data. Basic server logs generated by our hosting provider (Vercel) — including IP addresses and request timestamps. We do not use analytics services or tracking pixels.

How we use your data

• To operate the service: authenticate you, store your subscriptions, and send the reminders you configure
• To process billing if you upgrade to a paid plan
• To send a one-time welcome email when you sign up
• To keep the service running (server logs for debugging and security)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

Who we share data with

We use the following third-party services to operate Subscription Tracker. Each has its own privacy policy.

We do not share your data with any other parties.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all of your data — your subscriptions, billing record, and authentication credentials — is permanently deleted immediately. This happens automatically; you do not need to make a separate request.

Data is stored on servers located in the United States.

Cookies

Subscription Tracker uses a session cookie to keep you signed in. This is a strictly necessary cookie — without it, the service cannot function. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

Your rights

Access and portability.You can export your subscription data at any time using the “Export CSV” button in the dashboard.

Deletion. You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. All your data is permanently deleted immediately.

Correction. You can edit or delete any subscription entry directly in the dashboard.

EU/UK residents (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us.

Children

Subscription Tracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify you by email.
