Import with AI

Let your own AI assistant find your subscriptions in your email and add them for you. This is a Pro feature. Upgrade to Pro.

How it works

Your assistant reads your receipt emails using its own email connection, shows you what it found, and adds the subscriptions you confirm. Subscription Tracker never sees your email. The assistant can see your subscription list and add new entries; it cannot delete or change existing ones. Imported entries are labelled “Imported by AI assistant” in their notes.

Connect Claude

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
  2. Name it “Subscription Tracker” and paste the server address above.
  3. Click Connect, sign in to Subscription Tracker, and choose Approve.
  4. Make sure Claude's Gmail (or other email) connector is also turned on.

Connect ChatGPT

Requires ChatGPT Plus or higher.

  1. In ChatGPT, open Plugins → MCPs → Connect to a custom MCP.
  2. Name it “Subscription Tracker”, choose Streamable HTTP, and paste the server address above. Leave the token and header fields empty.
  3. Click Save, sign in to Subscription Tracker when asked, and choose Approve.
  4. To let ChatGPT read receipts, turn on its Gmail plugin too (see the note below).

Prefer not to share your inbox?

Email plugins are optional. ChatGPT's Gmail plugin asks for permission to read and send email, which you may not want to grant. Instead, paste or forward a few receipts into the chat and ask your assistant to add them — it works the same way and never touches your inbox.

Try this prompt

Search my email receipts from the last 12 months and find my recurring subscriptions. Show me the list with service, price, billing cycle and next charge date, then add the ones I confirm to Subscription Tracker.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector in your assistant's settings at any time. To undo an import, delete the entries from your dashboard — search for “Imported by AI assistant”.
